Course Description

This is a one-day animate tissue course designed for advanced laparoscopic surgeons who wish to explore Single Site Nephrectomy with the GelPOINT system. The program is limited to 6 participants to maximize hands-on experience.


Course Objectives

Learn how the GelPOINT system enables single site surgery. Explore single site tools and techniques, including:

  • Instrumentation
  • Camera operation
  • Trocar placement
  • Indications and limitations
  • Visualization and instrument manipulation
  • Control of renal hilum
  • Integration into clinical practice
  • Patient education, documentation and reimbursement
  • Patient selection, benefits, risks and challenges
