| Description |
This is a one-day course designed for advanced laparoscopic General and
Colorectal surgeons who wish to explore Single Site GI Surgery with the
GelPOINTTM advanced access platform and hand access laparoscopic surgery
(HALS) with the GelPort® system. The program is limited to 12 participants to
maximize the hands-on experience. The course covers Single Site Cholecystectomy,
Appendectomy, Bowel Resection and other solid organ procedures. The HALS
portion of the workshop will review approaches for left, sigmoid and total colectomies.
